The idea of CRK was sparked long before she was even tall enough to see the top of the stove! Standing on an old shaky wodden stool, her grandfather, affectionately known as Daddy Jack, taught her many life lessons like fearlessness, love, courage,patience, and respect using generations of family recipes as his catalyst. Daddy Jack’s favorite saying was, “Looks fade gal, only sure way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”! In 2014, armed with those valuable lessons and determination, she enrolled in L’eCole Culinaire of Memphis. In 2016, Chef Redd graduated with honors with an Associate Degree in Culinary and Restaurant management. During her journey, she has gained lifelong experiences by working with various well-known organizations from Hilton Garden Inn, the University of Memphis, Memphis Public Schools, and Lakeside Behavioral Health Systems. In 2018, her search for “something new” led her to Arizona, where CRK was born! Chef Redd’s Kitchen is a growing catering company that specializes in curating one of a kind custom interactive private dining experiences. Chef Redd’s Kitchen is also dedicated to its community and actively participates in local pop-up events throughout the valley. In addition to private dining and local community events, she also provides catering for corporate events, family gatherings, and special occasions. Recently, Chef Redd’s Kitchen was selected to be in Local First Arizona’s Community Kitchen Incubator program. This 2-year program is designed to provide businesses with the tools, resources, and mentorship to scale their business and achieve their dreams. Through continuous hard work and dedication, she plans to continue spreading her passion for food. Stay tuned…there is more to come!
