About Apache Junction Area Chamber of Commerce

Established in 1960, the Apache Junction Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center promotes a positive economic climate through services to members and business advocacy for the Apache Junction, Gold Canyon and East Mesa areas. We also serve as the voice for the business community, peer-to-peer networking opportunities and making connections to benefit businesses in our area, as well as promoting tourism in the Superstition Mountain area.

Today, the Apache Junction Area Chamber partners with federal, state and local entities, community organizations, and the business community to create an environment that is attractive to positive economic growth and opportunities. With the support of our members, the Chamber will continue to represent their interests, develop programs that give value to their membership, and give members the needed support that allows them to grow and prosper. In the early 1960s, a flourishing business community was forming along the Apache Trail.

Hometown Hawk is an advertising platform that actively promotes local people, products, brands, real estate, businesses, music & events. We take pride in driving local enterprises’ growth by showcasing their unique offerings, spreading the word about their products and services, and generating increased visibility. Our team employs various advertising techniques, including targeted marketing campaigns and engaging content creation to ensure local businesses receive the attention they deserve.

Using “hawk” as a verb in advertising typically means actively promoting or selling a product or service, often in an assertive or persuasive manner. When someone “hawks” a product, they actively and energetically promote it, drawing attention to its features or benefits and attempting to generate sales or interest.

This usage of “hawk” is derived from the image of a street vendor or market seller, known as a “hawker,” who loudly and persistently promotes their goods or services to passersby. In advertising, “hawk” is a more informal or colloquial term compared to terms like “promote,” “advertise,” or “market.”
