OWNER: Andrzej Derkacz – head restorer
Andrzej began his instrument restoration journey in 1995 at Kolstein NY, known for their high quality workmanship and integrity. He spent time working and learning techniques of restoration and varnishing of string instruments under the supervision of Barrie Kolstein and Jacob Cralidis. His passion for restoration excelled while working at the String Shop of Arizona with Terrance McShaine. Andrzej saw the need for the new violin shop in the Phoenix metro area and in 2009 he and his father in-law Stanislaw Cebulski decided to open Andrew’s Fine Violins.
