The Museum houses an interesting array of artifacts, photographs, and memorabilia depicting the economic and social life of the Globe-Miami-San Carlos region. Currently, there are exhibits on the Slavic and Hispanic heritage of Miami, part of the Gov. Rose Mofford collection, minerals, local mining history, uniforms and weapons of those who served in the U.S. Armed Services, and more. In addition, there is a stand-alone ceramic art exhibit donated by Globe’s nationally known tile artists, Bob and Charmion McKusick. The exhibit includes a lifetime collection of unique ceramic materials and processes. Enjoy learning more of the history and geology of the area at the First Friday programs, every month at 6:30 pm. There is no admission fee for the museum or for the speakers’ programs.
