Mari grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Western Colorado. As a child, she preferred to be at her father’s Inuit Art Galleries in Aspen, Colorado and started learning the art business from him. During the summers, she worked at her mother’s guest ranch above Basalt, Colorado and learned the in’s and out’s of the hospitality industry there. At the age of nineteen, she took the mantle of representing her mother’s artwork, a renowned Wildlife Artist. She has always loved traveling and has worked with her family’s adventure travel business for most of her life. She continues to pursue a life-long interest in Archaeology, Anthropology, Paleontology, Astronomy, Art History, and Geology, on top of her artistic abilities and knowledge of the art world.
For the past 7 years, Mari has been involved with the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, working with both her step-mother’s extended Moroccan family, and her friends from Madagascar. With her knowledge of gems, minerals, fossils, meteorites, artwork, antiquities, she has curated an exceptional collection that you may view through her website and online catalogue.
Please take a moment to browse and explore these wonderful treasures, and find just the right items for your collection.
In the meantime, she will be working hard at acquiring new pieces to add to her collection.
