Kathleen Dreier is an engaging, eclectic documentary portrait and event photographer based in Tucson AZ who is also available for on location travel assignments. Kathleen is able to “walk in many worlds” both private and public, documenting it authentically without her personal interference or influence. Kathleen’s work involves short and long-term assignments, select donated services, and personal projects. Her clients include individuals, families, non-profits, small businesses, and corporations. Kathleen also has had a long time social worker career. This combined skill set gives her a unique doorway to quickly establishing rapport with and understanding the dynamics of her photography subjects. Kathleen’s photography has been informed by being a student of Mary Ellen Mark, many mentors, and a multi-year workshop assistant for Mary Virginia Swanson. In addition to her regular family, community and business photography services, Kathleen has been working on a social change portrait series, entitled Voices of Race, with the intention to amplify the perspectives of our BIPOC communities while being a call of action to White communities to be social change agents. Kathleen has an extensive resume as well as business and wedding testimonials to share with you upon request. 520-245-6711
